​Hi! I'm Vaea, a sports and outdoors enthusiast who grew up in Bromont, Quebec. I started riding mountain bikes at age 17 and got immersed in the downhill racing scene which was strong in my hometown. I have since moved to BC (2013) to support my off-season training as well as the love for this outdoor friendly province.
I raced the downhill World Cup series for many years and enjoyed selected Crankworx events as well. Until I realized that Crankworx was much more fitting to my riding style, enjoyable and promising. Crankworx was then my main focus 2018 onwards. With a quick rise to the top, it was clear that those disciplines suited my riding style much better. I have absolutely loved the process of progressing on all kinds of mountain bikes. That learning curve didn't stop at Crankworx events. Big mountain freeride or even slopestyle tricks have been a part of my recent growth and it keeps bikes so much fun all year round!
