Athlete match: Kyla Deas

My name is Kat and I was born and I grew up in Maple Ridge, BC. I moved to Whistler for the summer in 2013 and started riding DH in the bike park. Currently, I live in Port Moody and tend to spend my evenings riding Eagle and my summer weekends at the bike park.

I started racing some local XCs in 2016 then expanded into off-road triathlons, enduros, and finally, DHs in 2021. This year I’m hoping to race some DHs and enduros (and will hopefully get to travel a bit and ride some new zones). I’ve met so many amazing people through riding and racing and I’m stoked to be able to meet some more rad girls through RLAG in 2023!
