My name is Eva Leikermoser, I am 18 years old and from the Comox Valley. This will be my second year as an ambassador with Ride Like a Girl and I am super stoked to keep sharing my love for bikes. Ride like a girl has helped me so much over the past few years as an athlete and I am excited to be able to help pass on that support.
I have been biking for as long as I can remember and racing since I was 9 years old. Until 2019 I raced mostly cyclocross and cross country, but in September of 2021 I tried my first BC Cup downhill race and fell in love. Last year I committed to a full season of DH races and had the most fun I have ever had on bikes. I held the Canada Cup overall leader position for the whole series and got to go to Europe to race World Championships and the last World Cup with the Cycling Canada DH team. I’m very excited for the upcoming race season and another awesome year with the Ride Like a Girl community!
