Athlete match: Zoe Knight

With a strong background in downhill mountain biking and a passion for freeride exploration, I have dedicated years to pushing my boundaries in the sport and encouraging others—especially young women—to do the same. My journey has taught me the value of resilience, creativity, and the empowerment that comes with conquering challenges both on and off the trails.

Having personally experienced the transformative power of mentorship in my own career, I am eager to give back to the biking community that has been such a formative part of my life. I believe in fostering meaningful connections with younger riders, inspiring confidence, and providing guidance as they navigate their own paths in the sport. I am particularly enthusiastic about helping to create an environment where girls feel encouraged to dream big and challenge limitations.

Is there anything in this upcoming season you are especially excited about?
I’m excited for the summer weather, which means more time riding at Whistler Bike Park and local trails. I’m especially looking forward to sharing these experiences with my mentee, Zoe, and seeing her progress as a rider. It’s going to be a great season of learning, pushing limits, and enjoying the trails together!
